ABOUT ME
Da'Nall Wilmer is an award-winning educator, mentor, and author from Baltimore, Maryland. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Media Arts from Clark Atlanta University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Towson University.
Da’Nall was led to make a positive difference in the lives of children by founding the “Boys in the Good” Youth Leadership Program. This successful non-profit organization led him to write his first children's book, THE GOOD BOOK: A Kid's Guide to Becoming a Successful Student Leader.
Da’Nall was then inspired to share his experiences navigating the world as an introvert by teaching about the unique gifts children have by authoring THE GREAT BOOK: A Kid's Guide to Understanding the Greatness in Extroverts and Introverts.
His most recent book, THE BEST BOOK: A Kid’s Guide to Overcoming Everyday Challenges and Living Your Best Life, shares lessons learned by his late father and encourages children to make the most of life by loving themselves.
Da’Nall is the recipient of the Clark Atlanta University 40 Under 40 Alumni Achievement Award, among other recognitions, including Teacher of the Year. He is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and currently teaches at Woodward Academy in Atlanta, Georgia.
"I've learned throughout my career that children can't be what they don't see. My ultimate goal is to inspire the youth to reach their highest potential in life. That, to me, isn't a job; it's my responsibility."
